        背景：具有芳基胺结构的磺胺药物柳氮磺吡啶(SSZ)是用于治疗许多风湿性疾病的抗炎药物。已经报道了与SSZ相关的各种不良反应。在本研究中，我们旨在确定类风湿关节炎和强直性脊柱炎患者出现SSZ相关超敏反应的频率。

        方法：本研究共纳入136例患者。在随访期间，发生超敏反应的患者记录反应类型，反应持续时间和药物剂量。在发生反应的患者中停止使用药物，并根据需要接受抗组胺药和/或皮质类固醇治疗。对皮肤针刺试验阴性的患者单独进行药物和氨基水杨酸的药物激发试验。

        Abstract

        BACKGROUND:Sulfasalazine (SSZ), which has an arylamine sulfonamide structure,is an anti-inflammatory drug used in the treatment of many rheumatic diseases.Various adverse effects have been reported related to SSZ. In the presentstudy, we aimed to define the frequency of SSZ-related hypersensitivityreaction in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosingspondylitis.

        METHODS:A total of 136 patients were included in this study. Duringfollow-ups, reaction type, reaction duration, and drug doses were recorded inpatients who developed hypersensitivity reactions. Drugs were discontinued inpatients who developed reactions, and they were treated with antihistaminicsand/or corticosteroids, according to requirements. Drug provocation tests withthe drugs and aminosalicylic acid were performed in patients with negative skinprick test individually.

        RESULTS:A total of 136 patients, with ages rangingfrom 19 to 71 years (mean, 41.97 [SD, 12.04] years), were included in thestudy. Hypersensitivity reactions according to the drug provocation test werefound against SSZ in 12 patients (8.8%). The SSZ-related hypersensitivityreaction types were urticaria in 7 patients, urticaria and angioedema in 4patients, and pruritus in 1 patient.

        CONCLUSIONS:Sulfasalazine is widely usedby rheumatologists in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. Whereas thefrequency of sulfonamide-related hypersensitivity reactions was reported as3.0% in the population, we detected hypersensitivity reactions to be 8.8% withSSZ usage in rheumatic diseases.
